For
more then a quarter century the Yellow Door Choir has been making music and delighting
audiences with its eclectic mix of choral gems from around the world.
We donate the profits from our semi-annual concerts to various local
charities, and over the years we have contributed to more than 40,
including Multi Caf, Chez Doris, Dans la rue, and Médecins sans frontières. The YDC is directed by Prof. Eleanor Stubley of McGill University (seated in front). The choir was founded 25 years ago by a group of singers at the Yellow Door coffeehouse and was led for 13 years by the indomitable Linda Morrison. Past conductors also include Ari Snyder, Mary Jane Puiu, Karen Young, Paul Keenan, Cathy Richards, Patricia Pope, and Harriet Wichin. Eleanor
Stubley was the subject of a CFCF News feature on remarkable
Montrealers. FOR FURTHER INFORMATION, CONTACT US BY EMAIL. Click here for
